Radio Sentry
Privacy policy
Effective date:
Radio Sentry is currently in development. This policy describes the development project's current privacy direction and will be revised before a public release.
Audio and Transcripts
Radio Sentry is designed to record voice-active audio from a connected scanner or other configured source. Recordings, timestamps, feed and source information, and optional transcripts may be stored locally or sent to a private Hub chosen by the system operator.
Authorized Access
Listener and publisher access is controlled with service credentials. The development system is intended for authorized teams and private deployments, not public anonymous access.
Local and Hosted Operation
A local Apple pilot can keep its archive on the capture Mac and share it on a trusted local network. A central-Hub deployment sends clips and related metadata to the operator's configured server so authorized listeners can retrieve them.
Operator Responsibility
The operator controls the audio sources, users, hosting, retention, and deletion practices for a deployment. Radio Sentry must only be used with communications the operator is legally permitted to monitor and record.
Development Changes
Hosting, account management, retention controls, transcription, notifications, and purchase features are still being designed. This page will be updated when those features and their final data practices are ready.
