  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1½ tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Smoky:
    • ½ tsp smoked paprika
    • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • Classic Garlic Herb:
    • ½ tsp garlic powder
    • ½ tsp dried thyme or rosemary
  • Spicy:
    • ¼–½ tsp cayenne or chili powder
  • Everything-Style:
    • 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning (add after roasting)

🔪  Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas, then pat completely dry with a towel (this is key for crispiness).

  1. Toss dried chickpeas with olive oil, salt, pepper, and chosen spices.
  2. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
